Key areas of her legal field are to provide advice, consultation, mediation, legal opinion on different legal issues, drafting of agreements , contracts, petitions, writ petitions, public interest litigation, memoranda and other legal documents to corporate, Governmental, Non- Governmental Organisations and individual clients. To appear before High Courts of various states, Supreme Court of India in civil, criminal, land laws, revenue, matrimonial, PIOs/NRI issues, consumer cases and arbitration etc
NRI abandonded brides(camparison study of laws – Indian and Foreign laws.), Family Laws(maintainence, alimony, custody of children, divorce etc), Land Laws, Revenue, Laws related women issues like Domestic Violence , Acid Attack, Dowry, Civil and Criminal Laws, cases related Illegal human trafficing on cross boarders, deported Indian citizens from various countries and other Misc Laws.
Total experience of working in the Legal field is of more than16 years. She is having clients from all over the world especially from USA, UK, Canada, Spain, Italy, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji etc along with the clients from various parts of northern India.
To create value for the nation, organisations, legal system, to general public and litigants especially to rural areas by fully utilizing synergy of vision, leadership, strategy, planning, managerial, administrative, financial, academic, legal and social experience.
I would like to work as a legal advisor or lawyer, where I can make optimum use of legal knowledge to provide legal advice on different legal issues and i want to use my knowledge as advantages for State and Nation with my degree of law, skills of communication and spokesperson to resolve various legal problems.
Areas of work and interests related to the sectors of society, for which I am working since 2002 and final goals to achieve are following:
Ø To create awareness to general public, institutions, litigants, students and young generation:
o About fundamental rights and duties as per constitution of India
o About Human rights and World Peace Programmes in general and specific
Ø To provide legal rights and equality to women , their contribution towards family, society Nation and further to the universe.
Ø To provide legal help and rehablitation to old persons, orphans, single parents.
Ø To provide legal help to farmers especially families of farmers, who did suicide due to various reasons, to rehablitate their families and empowerment of their young children.
Ø To provide legal help and justice to abandonded brides especially by NRI’s, Foreigners, PIO’s on National and International level alongwith the awareness campaions.
Ø To work, promote sports and games with innovative ways to get Medals at International level with mission mode execution of plans and strategies for the objective.
Ø To create awareness to reduce litigation amongst families, farmers through mediation and traditional ways of panchyat system.
Ø To aware women, children and other economic weaker sections of society about different policies, welfare schemes of Central and State Governments for their empowerment and upliftment of their career, financial positions and contribution to society.
Ø To participate in country’s development and growth by helping to create a law abiding society and well aware citizens, who know their fundamental rights and duties alongwith respect for human rights of every section of society.
Ø To start more guidance/centres for entrance tests for various vocational trainings, Navodiya schools, Government funded student welfare schemes, minority educational schemes especially in rural areas.
Ø To provide legal help and rehabilitation to Acid attack victims, burnt brides due to dowry and other social evils.
Ø To create awareness and legal help to cross boarder illegal human trafficking, as thousands of people are going abroad through illegal means from Punjab.
Ø Pre wedding counselling camps with information of Legal and social rights and duties with moral values at colleges/universities/block level for better social networking and family units .
Ø To promote various languages in Punjab for the betterment of youth to achieve better opportunities for jobs.

This forum is acting as watch dog on fair working in the society. This forum is having sub-chapter in other countries also. It is also providing free legal aid, counseling especially in women related cases.
Ø The legal rights of residents of area of Banur canal, in which residents of around 150 villages were involved and matter was resolved amicably.
Ø Restored justice to thousands of women and their families, who were deserted by their NRI/PIO husbands and in-laws, who went away to other countries.
Ø Post wedding counselling-Got compromises in matrimonial cases, in which parties were fighting against each other since years.
Ø Represented Legal cases of NRI abandonded brides in various forigen courts in different states of USA, UK, Canada, Itlay, Germany, Austriala, Newzeland etc.
Ø Represented legal cases of NRI abandonded children before NRI commission for state of Punjab and before NRI cell of National Women Commission of India,other authorities and courts.
Ø Raised the voice of abandonded brides at platforms ( Centre /State Governments in India and before representatives of Foreign Governments ), Human Rights commissions, NRI commissions, National and State women commissions, with different ministries like Child and Women Welfare Ministry, Indian Overseas Ministry, Ministry of Home-India, Ministry of external affairs etc for their legal rights .
Ø Explained the Mental, Physical, Social, Emotional, Financial,Legal concerns of NRI abandonded brides, their children, sufferenings of their families at international level. I am working at state, national and international level with print and electronic media. Ø Participating on social and legal issues of women in Universities, colleges and other institutions since 2002.
Ø Organising and participating peaceful demostrations against social evils Dowry, Eve Teasing, Domestic Violence, Sexual harrasment at workplace, burnt brides, female feticide,illegal human trafficing at cross borader areas.
Ø Paticipating in debates on local, National and international Televisions, Radios for women and children related legal and social concerns for their empowerment.
Ø Provided training/guidance to Punjab Police to deal with NRI cases on different places, S.I.A. teams of State Social Impact Assesment Unit and various Legal discussion camps at Women Study Centre at Punjabi University, Patiala.
Ø Organise and promote tournaments, training camps etc for different Sports and games Like Vollyball,Ghatka and others. Provided financial help to capable but needy sports persons for diet, sports kits , their dresses etc.
Ø Worked as member of Girls Education committee for minorities in Minority educational commission, New Delhi and attended/contributed/participated in other states by raising the problems facing minority girls for their education at different level.
Ø Chair the legal sessions in different universities and aware the students about Legal, Human Rights, Fundamental Rights escepcially Laws related to women issues.

Ø 27th August, 2002 - Representation to CM Panjab being part of delegation on the issue to check the exploitation of Punjabi girls in the hands of NRIs/PIO.
Ø 10th December, 2003 - Given a presentation and suggestions to The Governor Shri O.P. Verma for unemployment, illegal human trafficing on borders and expliotation of women being only female member of delegation.
Ø 29th january, 2004 - I organised peaceful demostrastion for burnt ladies and NRI abandonded brides being president of Baljit Memorial Educational and Charitable Society and bring many other organisations on one platform for this cause, who further helped such women.
Ø 7th & 8th February, 2005 - Participated in two days Seminar on Vilonce against Women in the State of Punjab at ICSSR complex, Chandigarh.
Ø 9th & 10th September, 2005 - Attended two days workshop on Domestic violence, Criminal Justice System and Police Women’s Cell/CPRC at Chandigarh organised by Institute for Development and Communciation.
Ø October, 2005 - Published special Five Part investigation in ABANDONED BRIDES cases ‘Canada’s shame, India’s sorrow’ in the newspapers ‘ CALGARY HERALD’ and ‘THE PROVINCE’ from Vancouver, British Columbia.
Ø 9th January, 2008 – ‘Le Monde’ French newspaper published story on Panjabis illegal immigrants. I was part of this.
Ø 23rd February, 2008 - Addressed the audience on State Level Seminar at Guru Gobind Singh College for Women, Chandigarh on the title ‘Women shackled in NRI weddings’.
Ø 18th October, 2008 - a Lecture at the occission of National Seminar on ‘Empowerment of Minority Girls through Education’ at H.G.M. Azam College of Education, Azam Camps, Pune organised by National Commission for Minority Educational Institutions, New Delhi.
Ø November, 2009 - Formed NGO ‘Uddan’as Legal Advisor and member to provide support to brillant but needy students and started centres in rural areas of Mohali and other districts for training for enterence exams in Navodiya vidalaya and others, due to which many students were benefitted and got admissions.
Ø 9th February, 2012 - Lecture at M.C.M. DAV College for Women, Chandigarh on the topic of ‘ Deserted brides in NRI Marriages’.
Ø 2nd October, 2012 - Participated in consultation on CEDAW at Punjabi University, Chandigarh organised by Prof Pam Rajpoot, Member Govt of India, High Level Ececutive Committee on the status of women on the issues of women covered under CEDAW.
Ø 3rd January, 2013 - Invited as member for Group meet at ICSSR Complex, Punjab University, Chandigarh to submit suggestions to the Justice J. S. Verma Committee constituted by the Government of India to give recommendations on amending the laws to provide speedier justice and enhanced punshiment in sexual assault cases post Nibhay rape case at Delhi.
Ø 28th February, 2013 - Paticipated as resource person to a consultation to discuss family and other laws related to NRI marriages at India International Centre, New Delhi organised by National Commission for Women, New Delhi being co-ordinating agency between various ministries for the issue of NRI marriages and related matters.
Ø 15th December, 2013 - Invited by NGO ‘Sarokar’ at Panchkula on the programme ‘Reasons of delay in justice- effect and remedies’.
Ø 15th December, 2015 - Training to S.I.A teams of State Social Impact Assesment Unit at Punjabi University, Patiala on the topic ‘Women related Legislation and it’s impact’.
Ø 18th March, 2016 - Holded a full day session at Women Study Centre, Punjabi University, Patiala on women related Laws.
Ø 27th/28th August, 2016 - addressed to the audience(Panchyat Members/students/University Staff) at Central University of Punjab, Bathinda – two days legal awareness programme on the issue of NRI Marriages, their problems, complaint and remedies.
Ø 23rd / 24th August2016 – Invited for guest lecture at SSD Girls College, Bathinda on the topic Eve Teasing and Sexual Harrasment at work place, Complaint and remedies’ under the theme’Women Education is the Women Empoerment’.
Ø 16th & 17th November, 2016 - Acted as Chairperson of session : Gender Equality-Legal Perspectives in the 8th International
Conference on HE for SHE: A Solidarity Movement for Gender Equality held at Punjabi University, Patiala.
Ø 4th to 17th March, 2017 - Documentry under the title ‘Outcaste Wives’ is aired on BBC One, BBC World, BBC News, BBC Asia and other channels and BBC on the issue of abandonded brides by NRIs in the programme ‘INSIDE)OUT’. Even now can be seen at BBC iplayer.

Ø 13th March, 2017 - Lecture on ‘Human Rights’ at ‘Hola Mohalla’ function organised by Mata Sahib Kaur Gurmatt College and Gursikh Family Club, Faridabad under the Organisation of Mata Sahib Kaur Gurmat Educational Society, Faridabad.
Ø 13th March, 2017 - Release of book of Sr. Rajbir Singh from Amritsar with the title of ‘Rikshe te chaldi zindgi.
Ø 20th April, 2017 - Lecture in a National Seminar on ‘Legal Remedies and other sources to deal with problems outcome of NRI marriages’ at Mahatma Gandhi State Institute of Public Administration, Chandigarh organised by Pb State Commission for Women with assistance of National Commission for Women, New Delhi also interacted with participants(Police persons/CDPOs/Public persons/ Law students etc) on Legal Issues.
Ø 20th April, 2017 – Participated as resource person at National Seminar on International marriages and related issues at Mahatma Gandi Institute, Chandigarh, which was organised by National Commission for women and Pb State commission for Women.
Ø 16th June, 2017- Participated as resource person in Regional Seminar on NRI marriages at Amritsar, which was organised by Pb State Women Commission with the help of NCW, New Delhi.
Ø 13th September, 2017- Awarded by All India Sikh Students Federation for working on social and legal issues of society.
Ø 9/10th January 2018 – Attended and participated in International Conference of PIO Parliamentarians, New Delhi.
Ø 11th January, 2018 – Addressed to the participents at ‘Women’s Study Centre, Punjabi University, Patiala’ on ‘7 days national workshop’ on the theme ‘Financial, Legal and Social Awareness Among Teachers’.
Ø 22nd February, 2018- Attended and discussed legal and social issues with the Canadian delegation in India in the leadership of honourable Prime Minister of Canada during his visit to India.
Ø 8th March, 2018 – Punjab University, Patiala organised and celebrated International women’s Day on the issue “Time is now: rural and urban activists transforming women’s lives” with special reference to ‘ issues and challenges of NRI abandoned wives’ in collaboration with the Department of Theatre and television and my NGO blooming smiles foundation. I interacted with the audience on this special issue as host and resource person.
Ø 13th March, 2018- Participated in a meeting with Ambassador of USA at The American Centre as legal person with IICCI for promotion of business between India and United States of America.
Ø 17th March, 2018- Participated as legal advisor on behalf of Indian Importers Chambers of Commerce and Industry with Ambassador of Republic of Peru and Ambassador of Republic of Paraguay for informal discussion for growth of business and legal opportunities between the countries.
Ø 5 th and 6th April 2018- Participated and Chaired a technical session in two days ‘National seminar on Consumer Protections in India: challenges and the way forward’ being organised by Punjabi University, Patiala which was sponsored by Centre for consumer studies, Indian Institute of Public Administration, New Delhi.
